Question for all of you out there.

I've been on a quest to combat my ever-present fatigue for a while, because I feel that it directly correlates with my ability to function socially (Also, who enjoys feeling like crap? You get what I'm saying.).

I'm aware that this may not be the case for everyone - some people have given up on socializing, or it is no longer a priority for them. Still, I'd like to ask this question to all of you reading:

Which situation would you prefer: being able to communicate effectively while feeling physically and mentally exhausted, or feeling physically and mentally alert while failing to communicate properly?

We all come from different backgrounds and have different life experiences, so please brieftly touch upon your personal experiences. Thanks!

I don't think it's possible to communicate effectively when exhausted....

I opted for being a hermit and having energy. Then I went on a mild antidepressant which took the edge off the anxiety of being around people and seem to have both energy and communication abilities. I'm still not an outgoing, "seek people out" person, but feel more comfortable around people now.

I would rather stay at home and watch other's have fun? I used to before, but now I have joined a church and I go 2 times a week. I am enjoying life alot more now. I have friends that don't judge me, I can just be who I really am. This is so different from who I was in my past, I stayed home alone and went no where, and settled for less, now I love life.
